Guidance and recommendations related to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak have been changing rapidly. A lot of the information floating around the internet is either quickly outdated and/or simply incorrect. Local 772 wanted to share links to accurate and current information. On this page you will find trusted and up to date resources to help you handle the Cornoavirus/COVID-19 outbreak.

IAFF Coronavirus/COVID-19 Toolkit
Working with numerous national partners, our union created and maintains a comprehensive toolkit for dealing with this challenge. It contains a wealth of regularly updated information that answers the most common questions about the virus and includes recommended policies, procedures, and PPE for dealing with the threat. It also has links to the World Health Organization (WHO), US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and US Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) for those who want to dig a little deeper.

Johns Hopkins University - Coronavirus Resource Center
Johns Hopkins is one of many organizations that have worked with the IAFF on this challenge. They maintain a great site for information related to the outbreak including a regularly updated map of global cases.

Maine CDC - Coronavirus Site
While the IAFF's Coronavirus Resource is an excellent first stop for all you need to know, the Maine CDC provides regular updates that are specific to our state.
