Working Fire on Outer Hammond Street

This afternoon, January 6^th, Central and Station 6 responded to a single story garage type, commercial structure with reported fire in the ceiling. Rescue 1 arrived on scene first reporting visible smoke conditions from the exterior of the building. With the bulk of Bangor units arriving Assistant Fire Chief Cyr assumed command and stuck an “All Hands”.  With the “All Hands” one additional Engine and rescue are assigned to the working fire. With two lines working, the fire was knocked down in the ceiling of the office and crews began to open up.
