At 7:10 PM, a call was made to 911 for a kitchen fire at 52 Warwick Street. Upon Arrival of first due Engine 6 and Rescue 6 found heavy fire showing from the front of the building. Station 6 units and Central Units were able to make a fast knock down (under 10 minutes) using 2 hand lines. Units remained on scene for about 1 1/2 hours doing mop-up and checking for extension.
Extensive damage was caused from heat and smoke. There were no injuries to the homeowners or to fire crews. Investigation - Caused by unattended and over heated grease/oil on the stove..
